Maybe so, but it cann't be just HANALEI BAY, HAWAII, USA

as the bay itself does not have that amount of beach.

Its a composite, the cliffs further back are taken from Ke'e beach which is further round than Hanalei bay.

I believe the answer is just Kauai, HI, USA.
Golf and snorkeling are all over the island.
5000 foot peaks are visible from most of the island.
Beaches are all around the island.
Picture is from one place, but clues are from all over.
Remember Sabah is an entire state (30,000 square miles) in Malaysia and that was a correct answer.
Kauai is much, much smaller than Sabah.

with the cliffs being photographed from Ke'e beach it gives us 2 locations on the Na pali coast, it could be:
NA PALI COAST, KAUAI ISLAND, HAWAII, USA, but previous answer have not gone as detailed and I have previously entered Kauai, Hawaii, USA.

The >5000feet refers to the whole island and not somewhere near the Na pali Coast, doesn't it??

I put AK in that round got my points. I will contact them if anything goes wrong and resolve it. I am very persistent about stuff like that, plus i have the time.

I, too, put AK instead of spelling out Alaska. That was how they showed their example as well, however, I did not receive week #3 points. Does it help to conatct someone to question it, or am I going to get nowhere?? I don't have any proof of what I put...frustrating!!

I put in Polihale Beach, Kauai, Hawaii on day one.
Think I'll get credit for that if just "Kauai, Hawaii" is the answer?

JUST MAKE SURE YOU SPELL "HAWAII" AND NOT JUST INPUT "HI"

Don't want to see you get burned on usding short forms.

Yes, I understand that. I said in my post that the pictures seem to be a match. I was asking a specific question that might help for the last 2 weeks.

Since I did Kauai, Hawaii, USA yesterday, I think I'll go with the Hawaiian language spellings of Kaua'i and Hawai'i today.

Once again, great detective work to all who found pictures that match! I think people should stop trying to pinpoint a specific beach or bay. Neither would have a "highest point of over 5,000 ft." and a beach would not be covered with "miles upon miles of beaches". The PC clues would indicate that the island is the answer. Thanks to all for the great work!

I am in agreement with your answer too as I have the same thought process.

Here is another vantage point of the coast line.

Here is another shot of the area of the rocks...not an exact match. But I believe this is in Lydgate Beach park.

Thanks again for everyone's work on this one.

Maybe you should post your request in the Points thread?

Anywhere Challenge: Did you get your points?

I think the challenge is that a lot of people (like me) only got points for 1 of the 2 weeks, and I'm not sure which one credited.
