CAE to BLR

I was looking on expert flyer for fare information on a one way trip from CAE to BLR departing on 01/20/2026. I see a fare price of $157. Is this true or am I missing something completely? I’ve attached a screenshot and the fair basis is at the very top.

When I look at flights.google.com, I get a price of $511, $539, and a couple more.

$157 is a filed fare for this city routing (before taxes, I believe). Just because a fare is filed for a particular routing, though, does not mean that the airline has made any seats available with that fare at this time.

The fare in the Expert Flyer table is the base fare and does not include taxes/fees, carrier-imposed surcharges etc.

If you price the ticket out at Delta (bearing in mind this is the cheapest basic economy/economy light fare) and click on "Amount Due" during the booking screen (among other places) you can see the breakdown and how it ends up with the ~$511 figure that SanDiego1K mentioned from Google Flights:

ITA Matrix also shows this directly when you select a particular combination of flights (note the same fare basis XLN19NBD):

I am not sure how $157 becomes $167 in the fare construction but maybe someone else knows. (Google tells me NUC is Neutral Unit of Construction which apparently has something to do with currency conversion? but I am not sure if that is a red herring here) Maybe it has just gone up $10 since you posted this (I don't currently have an EF subscription to check)
