Cheapest way to get to tokyo with points?
I have about 50,000 points on captilone and 90,000 points with hawaiian airlines. I'm flying out from san diego. How can I maximize these points get the japan?

Hawaiian airlines is now owned by Alaska. So you have AS ff miles. AS is oneworld airline, but as yet the HA brand is not. So AS has many ff partners. JAL is a Capital One transfer partner and a quick search shows the following for one-way award mileage requirements:
San Diego 27,000 so you would need 54k JAL miles for a RT ticket. If you have Amex points, you can also look into ANA transfer for comparable mileage award. |
