Which airlines refund ticket after checking-in?

Happy New Year all!
I know SW offers refund quite close to the departure time. Is there any other airline that has similar policy? Thank you!

Most airlines that I'm familiar with all refunds (presuming the fare is in fact refundable) any time prior to departure. Are there specific airlines you've checked with that don't allow that?

Thank you! That's good to know. Will you get refund to the original form of payment or travel credit?

That's really going to depend on the airline and fare rules. The airline is the only one that will be able to answer that question with certainty.

Which airline, what country of origin, and what types of fares are you asking about? This obviously isn't a "one size fits all" topic.

That not only depends on the airline and the fare rules, as you've already been told in another reply, but it also can depend on the type of ticket. Specifically, at many airlines an award travel ticket is refunded in the original form, but many paid tickets are refunded as travel credit, except "fully refundable" fares are likely to refunded to the original form of payment. And some deeply discounted tickets at some airlines may not be refundable at all.

And then the terms of the travel credit also vary from airline to airline. For example, Southwest just recently made it not have an expiration date, but many other airlines still have expiration dates for them.
