Help with stay/hotels in Paris Amsterdam London
Traveling to Paris, London and Amsterdam/Brussels this summer (July end-early Aug). Haven't decided between the last two yet (booked flights to Paris and flying out from London). 4 of us - 2 adults and 2 kids (13 and 7) - does that make 3 adults and 1 kid for European hotels? Do I need to book two rooms for 4 of us?
I need help with planning accommodation at these places. Looking to stay 4 nights in Paris, 4 nights in London and 1 or 2 nights in Amsterdam/Brussels. I have 130k MRs, 350k URs 60k Hyatt points. Planning to visit major tourist landmarks so I guess best is to stay in the city close to public transportation/major landmarks.
Marriott? Hyatt? other options? not looking for luxury experience, reasonable points redemption.
VRBO and Airbnb are ok too but can I book these with points or redeem using points with any of the cards (Venture X may be, but do not have many points left to redeem)?

With 60K Hyatt + 350K UR I'd recommend leaning towards Hyatt. Unfortunately, their hotels in London near major landmarks are quite expensive.
An option I'd recommend in London is the Hyatt Regency/Hyatt House London Stratford, which is 12K/night. The hotel is attached to a huge mall (always helps with teenagers) and a railway/tube station with access to multiple lines, including the Elizabeth and Jubilee lines.

I'd do Amsterdam - much more interesting than Brussels. Book your train ticket asap as early is cheapest. Train from AMS to London is also very enjoyable and much better than flying.
Difficult to provide guidance on hotels but points can work out much cheaper so just cast the net wide comparing to paid rates. If paid, modest non-chain hotels can actually be good value and you might be able to get two rooms at reasonable cost. 4 can work but the options will be limited, except for London where family rooms are common. Check for airco as that time can get (very) hot.
Transport in Paris and Amsterdam is very good so staying a bit further away from main tourism sites is OK - in London getting from A to B can take lots of time so location is more important.

In London I found two hotel options:
Frist one which seems to be close to the city is Hyatt Place London City East Black Lion House, 45 Whitechapel Road London, England, E1 1DU
And another which is bit farther is Hyatt House London Stratford 10b Chestnut Plaza Westfield, London, England, United Kingdom, E20 1GL
Both hotels seem to allow only two 2 adults max per room, so looks like I will need two rooms for 4 of us
Points per-night points start at 9,000 – over 4 nights, total points needed for two rooms is 9k * 4 * 2 = 72k points
Cost per-night in euros is around 200 euros = total cost if these are paid for as-is = 1,600 euros
In Paris I found only one option under 20k points/night - Hyatt Regency Paris Étoile 3, Place du Général Kœnig Paris, Île-de-France, 75017
Per-night points start at 18,000 – over 4 nights, total points needed for two rooms is 18k * 4 * 2 = 144k points
Cots of per-night is around 300 euros = total cost if these are paid for as-is = 2,400 euros
Are these reasonable redemptions? Better suggestion of using points? I don’t have status at Hyatt, does that help anyway?
