Best route from east coast to FCO/FLR in spring 2023

Headed to Montepulciano in May/June 2023. Looking for insight on best route to FCO/FLR ideally from IAD/BWI/PHL

Montepulciano is great in May/June. Ill also be in the area. This aint the place to ask how to get there though. Try google flights or a travel agent.

If by "best" you mean nonstop, AA flies PHL-FCO year-round; UA flies IAD-FCO seasonally.

There are no trans-Atlantic nonstops to FLR. Lots of one-stop connections via many large European airports.

If by "best" you mean something other than nonstop, let us know what your priority is.
