Air France/KLM light fares - add baggage
Hi,
hope someone has some experience with KLM/AF light fares where adding baggage after ticket purchased. Getting flights from Dub - Syd via Sin and ridiculously good price but no baggage included and due to OTAs can’t get a standard fare. Of course KLM/AF sites can’t get close and even when calling them can’t give an indication of baggage prices. so question is, has anyone had to buy baggage online for long haul flights and if so roughly what price please? So question is, has anyone had to buy baggage online for long haul flights and if so roughly what price please? KLM/AF does not fly to SYD, so that complicates extra baggage fees. SIN-SYD may be a code share on SQ,. 'Or SIN-SYD may be a code share on QF, All fares on QF include baggage, but no idea about the KLM/AD code share. QF does not have "light fares". Or a code share on another airline. Would recommend *not* using an OTA. Far better direct with the airlines. If the OTA has a ridiculously good price compared to others would be suspicious. Very suspicious. For DUB-xxx-SYD are many options. And more options if selecting another AU airport:- BNE MEL ADL PER Look at the ME3 - Qatar QR, Emirates EK & Etihad EY.
