Free checked bag for OneWorld Ruby on AA marketed flight
 

Recently I booked a flight from LAX to OSL and CPH to LAX with American Airlines. As for the rule of American Airlines, I can bring a piece of free checked luggage because I'm Alaska Airlines MVP (Ruby), and their customer representative said I can bring a piece of checked luggage free for all segments. However, the rule for Finnair is different and their customer agent said I need to pay for baggage because Finnair operates the majority of the segments. I asked two companies and got different results. Am I going to get a free checked luggage for my itinerary? Thanks in advance.


First Segment: AA2976 (LAX to DFW) Operated by AA

Second Segment: AA9018 (DFW to HEL) Operated by Finnair

Third Segment: AA8990 (HEL to OSL) Operated by Nordic Regional Airline

Fourth Segment: AA8991 (CPH to HEL) Operated by Finnair

Fifth Segment: AA8975 (HEL to LAX) Operated by Finnair

All segments are marketed by American.
