Leg skip affecting return trip?

I'm planning a trip from SFO to Stockholm ARN via Copenhagen. I realized that on the way in it may be simpler just to take train directly from Copenhagen to my destination in southern Sweden versus flying up to Stockholm first. But I still want to return from Stockholm.

If I just skip the Copenhagen-Stockholm flight would this cause any issues for my return trip? Any other thoughts?

Simple answer is yes. Do not risk it.

Assuming this is a SAS roundtrip ticket, you cannot skip any legs and use the flights out of sequence as a general rule of thumb. If you skip a leg the rest of the itinerary will be canceled.

Yes SAS. Thanks for quick replies.

You can do anything you want. As long as you get the airline’s approval in advance. (You wil probably have to give them a plausible reason though)
