Best Airline for Quantity of Food

Which is the best airline for the quantity of food served in economy class irrespective of chosen cuisine.

Also, in the following alliance categories, which is the airline in each of them

1. Star Alliance
2. Sky Team
3. One World

A question that cannot be answered.
People have different food preferences & tastes. Can depend on where you live/ethnicity
Can be a big difference short haul to long haul
Can be a difference in regions. Like USA to Asia

Surely quantity can be objectively answered, although I suppose not easily?

1. Do you mean quantity of food served at no additional charge or the size of the meals that are available for purchase? (Of course, one could always buy two or three.)

2. What routes are you asking about? There's no single answer for all routes of a given airline. I can think of at least one U.S. airline that serves no free food at all in economy on most domestic routes but serves a good amount of food across oceans.

Special menu

Order something like low calories or fish or vegetarian. Or there are a few others. You get it before everyone else and is usually healthier.

Southwest typically stocks enough peanuts to feed an army, and you can always ask for more.

None.

Airlines generally don't prepare food on board. It is done by catering companies. So the size are about the same.

If you are concerned about not be able to get full, either eat before boarding or build your own food.

+1. Especially if traveling from an outstation, it's highly likely all the food is being catered by the same company (though the airline may be paying different amounts to the company which could influence quality).

Generally among the US3, I find DL Y food to be respectable. The salad with chicken breast offered on many international flights is a reasonably healthy and tasty option.

No more peanuts on Southwest. Pretzels only. (Longer flights have more options but still no peanuts)
