Award booking on codeshares
Let's say you have miles on airline A, and you are trying to book an award flight on partner airline B, but the flight you are trying to book is a codeshare flight operated by airline C, is this allow in general?
|
There is no general answer. It depends on the programme and the airlines in question in particular.

Almost all awards are native flights. Only a few exceptions to this. AA has some code share awards in the south pacific. May be others but uncommon. |
