B6 Mint vs AS F
Flying JFK-SEA in October. Never flown Mint, and all the bloggers are raving about it. I'm based in SEA and have status with AS, so I usually fly them. However, in this specific case, I don't need the EQM, and Mint is a bit cheaper than AS F -- so I am tempted to try it.
Cons: Miss out on ~6k RDM, no lounge, and no AS status perks (free change or cancellation fees if needed). Pros: Get to fly/try Mint.
What would FT suggest?

Stick with AS or you'll be disappointed in future premium class transcon flights.
Mints is miles ahead of AS. Lie-flat seat, nice meal, free fast wifi, good entertainment...
