MU JFK-PVG-HAN, how to book with miles?
 
Both legs are available for separate booking on DL (85K and 45k in J). The site does not allow booking together, and won't even allow 2 separate bookings on the same PNR. My experience with traveling through China on separate PNRs is not good. I think hoping that the JFK GA checks me in all the way to HAN is risky.

FlyingBlue has the flight available for 115K miles as a single PNR.

Is there a way to book it for less (assuming mostly UR and MR points)? Is MU bookable by any Skyteam program?

Yes, if you are open to programs outside of Skyteam.

I am open to them. What non-Skyteam (and non QF) program books MU?

Why MU? Other carriers serve HAN.

For example, you can travel on JL using AS for 65K miles from JFK to HAN.

DL redemption is not that great for premium cabin because it does not use a fixed chart.

Because MU is the only one with availability for my dates.
