Which Airline Provides Free access to the Internet while on air

Had an argument with a friend of mine lately, she claimed that there are certain airlines that provide access to the internet while on air. I doubt if this could be true, Do you know of any? I just need some explanation, if you do know, please tell me.

Not sure if i’m understanding the question correctly, but wifi equipped Qantas aircraft provide free service on domestic routes

thank you for the response, i would rephrase the question like "Could I be in an airplane and still be able to surf the internet, (visit websites like shukushaker store, chatting on whatsapp) etc.

Do you understood me better?, Thank you

Ok in that case the answer is “yes heaps”. Almost quicker to write a list of airlines that DON’T supply this service

But you have to PAY to access the internet. I think all the US airlines have the option, at least domestically.

So

For example, Delta has WiFi on almost all flights. For free you can do text messages, access the Delta site, and watch movies etc through Delta Studio. To use regular internet, you pay extra..

Welcome to FlyerTalk, lissaalbrt2!

As this question is not specific to Women Travelers, I am moving it to the Information Desk.

Google is your friend. :)

Google "airlines free internet" and it immediately gites you a list:

https://www.google.com/search?q=airlines+free+internet

But don't just do it once and assume that it'll remain the safe forever. Airlines may be added or dropped from such a list over time.

I seem to remember seeing something in the news recently about one of the US3 majors considering free internet, but I'll believe it when it's actually launched.

I think delta is offering free wifi on 55 flights...
