US West coast to TLV - business award suggestions

Looking for advice / suggestions on a business award travel from the US west coast to TLV in June, or what is the best way to find availability.

That depends. What frequent-flyer award "currencies" do you have available to you?

It's easy to search for award availability on UA and most of its partners: just go to united.com, and do an award search. Watch out for results that say, "mixed cabin"; that indicates that not every flight on the award will be in Business Class.

Amex and UR have a number of different transfer partners. You could, for example, transfer MR or UR points to Iberia, and redeem for LAX-MAD-TLV, if Business Class award seats are available . IB requires cash surcharges on their long-haul awards, but they are relatively modest.

Do not transfer any points unless and until you have verified that the desired award seats are available.

I was able to find an offer through Asiana for significantly less miles than other programs (e.g. United, etc.) offer (same exact flight).
How do I transfer points/miles from Amex/Chase/United to Asiana - which AFAK is not a direct partner, and how will it take?

You cannot transfer ff miles from United ffp to Asiana ffp.
Transferring Amex/Chase via a 3rd party, if available, usually results in a significant loss of value.
That is why the "which currency" was asked above.
Are you 110% sure award availability exists? And consider award cash surcharges if applicable.

Credit card transfer links
Look at https://www.awardhacker.com/ A very general guide.

Award Hacker still shows SPG as a transfer source. I hope they update soon.
