new to traveling

I am looking for some help as to find the best flight deals. I want to leave Billings MT about (dates of 6-10/11 to 6-18/19) and head to Anchorage. Want this to be a honeymoon. As I said I am new to all this and hoping to get some great pointers. Thank you for any help.

At this time it'd probably be best to use the cost of the trip to meet the minimum spending for a bonus on a card or two, maybe even three for future use. Award tickets for this time will be tough to get or not Saver level making them a poor value.

One way to make your trip a bit more special is getting a card with a Priority Pass membership (can be had with a card with an annual fee as low as $95/year and other benefits) so you can have a lounge access at some places or a credit in a participating bar/restaurant. The website will tell you what is available at each airport.

You could also get to Seattle or Vancouver and do a cruise to Alaska.

If you have airline miles, use them.

The proposed trip is going to be expensive. Changing time won't help at all.

I use google.com/flights to find a ticket. Here is an example -
