Eva airlines vs Cathy pacific long haul economy

I am traveling with the family SFO>MNL. I have 2 choices with similar flight times. However, Eva is cheaper. Does Cathy Pacific warrant the $165pp premium ($496.08 total) over EVA. We don't have any status with any airline or alliance. I have 24 hrs cancellation policy with Cathy. Hows the food, service, seats, IFE etc compare. I hear Cathy is now 10 abreast on the 777 but I might get swapped to an A350 as my inbound leg is already. We will use my Priority Pass for lounge access.

Book the cheapest fare. The difference between the 2 products is insignificant. You will also get 10 seats abreast on BR

Currently, I believe, only one of the 3 daily flights with BR exSFO leaves from Concourse A where the PP KLM lounge is which has official rules that guests must be flying from that Concourse. I have seen then turn people away but others have reported success. There are two PP restaurants at SFO which could provide you with options for the family.
