Shortened name on confirmed flight.
Purchased a ticket on Phillipines Airlines via an OTA. OTA stated 24 max character limit on my name so first names are initials and surname in full, no spaces.
I checked with PAL who state this *might* be an issue upon boarding? OTA saying it is not. Flight is still 7 months away but getting worried about refusal to board at airport?
I have travelled with shorten names before on BA, AA but that was never a problem. Any ideas thanks?

Yep, agree, not an issue. The airline IT systems are based on technology from several decades ago and are fairly inflexible. The airlines are used to seeing names getting mangled, truncated, first names and family names reversed, etc. Provided that the name in your passport looks like the name on your reservation you would be massively unlucky to have an issue.
