Trying to finish my 7 continents with points!

So I have been stashing points for a year or so and am really interested in trying to cross off the final 4 continents to visit. I want to redeem flights in J. Is there a routing that is most efficient? I donít have to do all at once but if thereís an efficient way to knock off 2 at once - that what Iím interested in.

My stock of points is:
SQ - 264,000
AS - 158,000
UR - 270,000
Avios - 140,000

Africa
South America
Antarctica
Australia / Oceana

Thanks for any tips!

And what research have you done?
Getting long haul premium cabin awards is a very common question. And can be difficult.
AS & BA have a big overlap of partners in the Oneworld alliance.

Not aware of any commercial flight to Antarctica. Maybe some package tourist type flights from South America

Consider these Award booking services - a list and some reviews

NZ used to do the Antarctica sightseeing flight but stopped it after a crash many years ago. The cruises seem expensive, although you should be able to use miles/points to fly to the departure point, often in southern Argentina.

A charter - TA still does that from Australia on a QF charter

I was flying CHC WLG on Air NZ the night TE901 went into the mountain. A sombre flight

A couple thoughts with some digging (check out: https://www.awardhacker.com/)

Assumption: you are starting in the US. You have to get somewhere in Argentina / Chile for Antarctica cruise and you

1) US --> South America, 50k AS (can fly on either AS/LATAM or AS/AA or all AA)

2) South America --> Antarctica, RT cruise

3) South America --> Africa, 50k UA (from UR) getting you onto the GRU - JNB flight (plus inter-SA flights)

4) Africa --> Sydney, 78k SQ for JNB - SIN - SYD/AKL/BNE/MEL

5) Australia --> US, 55k AS if you can find QF J space, 60k AS if you can find CX J space via HKG, 90k UA from UR for *A through various destinations in Asia

6) Avios for any intra-SA flights that you can find on LATAM, Avios for any intra-Australia/New Zealand flights you can find on QF, Avios for any intra-Asia flights on CX or JL

Africa --> Australia also possible on SAA (JNB-PER) [Star Alliance] and QF (JNB-SYD) [Oneworld & AS]
SYD is not the only airport in Aussie

Whoops that should have read Africa --> OZ/NZ, but hey at least I got some diversity in destinations the second part of that bullet
