It does not help people who come to FT looking for information to engage in a rant about what some Asian carrier may offer when OP is looking for transport between WAS and Europe and more importantly, none of the US carriers offer or promote their "slightly better seat" as a premium economy product.
AA is offering W on a limited basis? All 15 787-9, all 15 A330-200, all 20 777-300ER, 35 of 47 777-200ERs offer PE / W. The 20 787-8s and remaining 12 777-200ERs are being refitted with W. All future 787 aircraft will be delivered with W. The only widebody AA aircraft without W are the 24 767-300ER, and the nine A330-300.

But if the OP wanted to fly from Philadelphia, all that matters is which (LUS, right?) planes AA uses from Philadelphia to Europe. If those either aren't being updated or are far away from being updated, it doesn't matter what else in AA's fleet is doing W if the OP only wants to fly from Philadelphia nonstop to Europe.
