MAA to ATH using AA miles?
Looks like my only option is BA. But the taxes and fees are almost same as the cost of a revenue ticket (~$450).
Is there any other option? Will they allow travel on Qatar/Etihad/Cathay for India to Europe?
Thanks.

kuMAAr, welcome to FlyerTalk. (Clever handle, by the way.)
I’d refer you to these two threads in the American Airlines | AAdvantage forum. There is a lot of very useful information in the Wikiposts at the top of the pages.
