What to do with expiring miles with LAN
Hey, I have 53k miles with LATAM airlines at two separate accounts valid until end of February 2017. I will probably not use those. Where is the best to sell those? Thanks for advice, Klara

Welcome to FT. You've posted this in two forums (the LAN forum probably being the better of the two) which is not allowed, so I will ask a MOD to combine the two threads. In the future if you want a thread moved, closed or anything you can click the blue & red circle below your screen name to contact a MOD.
You can look at points.com on converting your miles to a different program (airline & hotels) but the rates for doing so are usually rather poor. Selling for cash is often forbidden by the programs themselves. |

You can use LATAM ff km with a range of partners including all Oneworld & LA partner airlines and from the LATAM pass products catalogue https://www.latam.com/en_us/latam-pa.../fly-with-lan/ |
I realize not all airline FF programs offer multiple methods of earning points or allow the extension of valid points by the earning of new points, but that is an avenue worth exploring. Most airlines have some version of an airline portal. And Alitalia is one of the few airlines I know that have a drop dead date for your miles (and its program!). Before I came to FT, I let some small amount in the old US program to expire that I could have easily kept alive by use of the information I learned here.
