HELP - Which F to choose???

In a couple of weeks we are going to Japan with below routing.

More Airlines have know released F tickets as Lufthansa, ANA, Asiana, Air India, Air China and Thai.

Please advice of possible best choices. Just looking for the best experiences on the way to Japan.

This is our routing at the moment:
CPH-LHR SAS C
LHR-BKK Thai F (A380)
BKK-NRT Thai F (A380)

NRT-BKK Thai C (A380)
BKK-MXP Thai F (747-400)
MXP-MUC LH C
MUC-CPH LH C

Not sure what you're asking. Your routing is pretty decent minus the MXP-CPH with a stop in MUC first. Some would find the extra leg a little bit of a pain. Others are fine with it.

You list airlines that haven't released F award space so they aren't an option. Without availability you're options are what is available. So what exactly are you asking?

Your thread title is "HELP - Which F to choose???" but then you say there are no other options available.

If there is no award availability then you don't have any choice?

All the airlines on outgoing route has released seats and I have checked availability.

Asking for advice whether to choose another airline than Thai in F?

Looking for lifetime experience.

Then I'd suggest you read some Trip Reports of the various airlines (or specifically Thai, Lufthansa, ANA and Asiana) to help decide. See: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/trip-reports-177/

Well if you're going ideal without regard to availability I'd take LHR-HKG via ZRH on LX (77W), HKG-SIN on SQ F Suites, SIN-NRT on NH, NRT/HND-BKK on TG A380 over 744 and then BKK-LHR/LCY via FRA on LH.

I would just do CPH-FRA/MUC-NRT in LH F unless you want to stopover in MXP or BKK? Preferable FRA due to the First Class Terminal experience.

LX only releases F awards to Miles and More Senator and HONs.

For me the only 3 F products worth flying in your scenario are TG F, LH F, and NH F (OZ F is good but only worth it on A380/777 - and I don't think either is on a European route).

I would do the following:

CPH - FRA/MUC - BKK (LH J / F)
BKK - NRT (TG F)

This gives you access to both the FCT in Frankfurt (or LH F lounge at MUC if you can't get on FRA flight) and TG F ground services / spa / lounge in BKK (only get the full deal if you are departing BKK in F)

On the return I would do:

NRT/HND - FRA/LHR/MUC (NH F)
FRA/LHR/MUC - CPH (LH J / SK J)

This would allow you to sample all 3 F products and also benefit from the key lounge access opportunities.

TG F (388/744) is much better and more confortable than the new LX F on the 77W... And with TG you'll experience a good ground experince with golf car shuttles and a great F-cl Lounge at BKK. I would stay with TG F. If you could afford, book the SQ Suites in F or EY Appartements in F.
