Repeat or Only One Time Status Match?
 

Do the hotels (hyatt, hilton, spg, ihg....) allow repeat status match (after how long?) or is it just a one time deal? Thanks.

I'm sure it varies from hotel program to hotel program.

With Hilton, it depends first of all on when they offer status match in the first place. They haven't offered it all the time. In the past year they offered it, then withdrew it, and now are offering it again:
Meanwhile, at Hilton you don't need a status match to get to Gold if you are USA-based; all you need is one of two credit cards, and that can get you Gold status year after year after year.
