Using Cheap MR To Move Belongings?

I will be moving overseas (NYC to Southeast Asia) this coming September and wanted to see if it would make sense to utilize a cheap deal currently being offered to move belongings over given the following details. I have some additional time off as well and wouldn't mind making the trips

• Trip Cost: $600
• Status: Premier Platinum (3 Bags x 70lbs)
• PQM Earned: 20,536
• Award Miles Earned: 17,093

Will the ~20k PQM push you over the threshold to 1k? What is the cost of alternative methods of getting the ~200 lbs of stuff moved? Do you place a value (positive or negative) of doing this as a separate visit prior to permanently moving there? Are there any costs to store the 3 bags of stuff you bring on this ticket, or will you already have a place to leave them?

Might depend on how much luggage you are bringing each trip. Someone might notice you coming and going with more than a couple suitcases each time and wonder if you are trying to dodge customs tax by splitting up the load.
