Questions to Pilots and FA's section?
Is there a place on here called "Ask the Pilot" or Ask the "Flight Attendant"?
If not maybe someone in charge could start one. That way the Pilots and FA's could chime in with answers to questions we may have about certain things? Just a thought. |
The airline employees (not just flight crew) that hang out here generally reply to threads with relevant topics even if they're not specifically labeled "Ask the [job title]." Such questions are generally posted in the TravelBuzz forum if they're not specific to any one airline, or in the appropriate airline's forum if they are. So, just post your question with a suitable title. If any airline employees feel like responding, they will. If they don't, having it in a separate section won't help.
You might also look at this "Ask the Pilot" site. Its owner, Patrick Smith, posts here under the handle GateHold. |
Different airlines have different policies about employee participation and the latitude they grant them.

If you have a general question about travel, there is Travelbuzz and specific other forums. This community is theoretically organized by the topic of the question, not who is asking it or who they are asking. Many community members can point you to answers even if they are not airline employees. |

nydisneykid, if you have any specific questions you’d like to ask a British Airways pilot, or cabin crew member, or a Heathrow ATC professional, please visit the http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/briti...k-staffer.html thread. It is a veritable mine of information. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-E...50/029_ask.png |
USA Today has a weekly "Ask The Pilot" column (as part of Monday's Travel page in the business section). They take questions from readers.
