unable to find info

Please forgive me if this is being posted in the incorrect forum but, I have looked everywhere I can think of on this site, and can not find anything explaining what ".bomb" is! I would be most appreciative of any info on it/how to use.
Many thanks!

Its a term of endearment for an airlines website that craps out all the time. I believe it a phrase from the Pre merger United days.

LOL...

It's what some call the Delta.com website in frustration. Also used for other glitchy airline websites to some extent.

.bomb is a sarcastic reference to websites that generally suck. Particularly "united.com" = "united.bomb" = simply ".bomb"

It was the nickname of the old United website, the one they had before the merger. Some continue to use it for the new website - not having invented a new derogatory term.
