Grad student in need of help.

Hello everyone. I am student at University of Buffalo. I am trying to get to Kansas City to be with my friends and family during the holidays. Unfortunately, I got to pay my fees for the Spring Semester and am running a little short for the flight tickets.
In order to save money I am travelling on Christmas day and returning on 1st Jan. Still the ticket fares are not kind on my budget.
Is there anyone out here willing to share the holiday Joy by helping me out.

Please let me know.

King regards,
Grad Student!

First, you likely waited WAYYYYYYY too long to get good fares. Next year, look for flights beginning in July or August.

Second, you might see what fares are like from NYC and take a bus or train down there.

Good luck!

Thanks Doc Savage! Will do.

Google shows $305 on AA... for last minute and Buffalo as point of origin, that seems... not terrible.
Not sure what OP was targeting but that price range seems ok to me.

That sounds like a pretty darned good fare.

Greyhound is $270 and you can leave earlier and be home for Christmas and remain a few days into 2015....

And I went to UB, suggest looking into flying to nearby airports and driving or bussing over. both ways. Sometimes flights from ROC are cheaper.

Bribe people with jim's steakout or anchor bar.

AA is still showing flights right around ~300 all in for those dates. No way in Hades are you going to get any better than that.

+1

Seems to me that this is likely the case :)

Perhaps he would have better luck with more posts under his belt :)
