MCO HNL Using mulitple FF awards
Okay, I give up! I’m almost cross-eyed from searching for options. Here’s my situation:
I am looking to go from MCO to HNL in February 2015. Trying to do as much first class as possible since it’s our 25th anniversary and we met in HNL so it’s kinda special.
I have a companion tkt on USAirways, which I believe is coach only and upgradable.
I expect to get another companion on Alaska sometime in July.
My husband has 70k FF miles on Delta. I have 76k on Delta also and 40k on USAirways. We have very minimal on AA, less than 10k.
I don’t mind paying to upgrade; using companion tkts to get me to the west coast and then transfer to another carrier; using miles and money; buy one get one and then pay to upgrade; whatever it takes.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

For what you're looking to do, it will take some time to find out the best options. So be prepared to spend many more hours on this or to find someone to pay to do it for you.
In a sense, its not too involved. Just use your AS companion ticket to fly you from MCO-***-HNL on one ticket. Just be sure you book on flights that have upgrade space available so that you can use your AS miles to upgrade both passengers. But, just noticed you have no AS miles so that idea is out.
I'd try the same thing on US then. Book MCO-***-HNL on US airways and use the companion cert. use something like Expert Flyer to find seats with upgrades with miles & co-pay current available and then upgrade yourselves that way. But, again, in looking closer I don't think you'll have enough miles for all the upgrades (It's 15k miles +co-pay on AA so figuring US is in that ballpark you're about 20k miles short).
You're probably aware that your Delta miles are worthless for either Alaska or US flights/upgrades.
I don't see a way for you to use either of your companion certs AND your miles to upgrade the full trip.
Other last resort is to look at Delta's redemption costs for First to Hawaii. I suspect its more than 70k/person round trip but that's really the last option there.

a few notes...
if your stuck at getting 1st class...then you better work at getting more miles..in whichever program you think will help you get there...but i would probably look at adding to your delta miles..you'll probably need about 100k each.
your us air companion pass won't help you for anything mainland to/fr HI..your companion for AS works....but i don't believe your companion can get first class if you paid for first
Your stuck cuz delta and us air both don't have one way awards...
just build up your delta miles or transfer both peoples delta miles to one account..use miles to pay for the 1st class flight..then pay cash for the 2nd person.

OP, if you had to pay cash for F seats, what is the most you would be willing to pay per ticket? would you be willing to position elsewhere (using miles from MCO) to get that price?
