How to maximize points/cash back on trip to Mexico
Trying to book a trip to Mexico for April, and have everything pretty much picked out. Will convert 76.8k UR points to SW to A+ credits for 2 biz class seats to get from east coast to Mexico. Cheapest points option I could find, and the scheduling works out great.
Will book using Sapphire to get some points for the taxes+fees.
For the resort, we picked out the place (non points earning) which is cheapest on Orbitz and Cheapcaribbean. The resort on Orbitz earns $57 in orbitz rewards, plus probably a small % of cash back through ebates/etc. Any better way to book this? I'll put on the Sapphire for the 2x points.
