Changes in mileage award and use programs?
 

So I've seen a number of reports on TV and online regarding changes to the mileage programs that various airlines have to offer.

Is there a place where this is documented on FT and is there anything that can be done to prepare for it?

The best details are in the respective pages for each individual airline or hotel group. i.e., changes to United are in the United forum. some blogs have more of the side-by-side charts and such.

Best way to prepare for many of these devaluations is to burn. Burn those miles whilst they retain value...

Burn those miles? Not me...
 

I've decided not to burn my UA miles. I will use my miles for hotels instead. This summer, we had around 400,000 miles. We used 62,500 miles each for EWR to FRA to VCE/CDG to EWR and to HNL in January 2014. We used, on the average about 14,000 miles per night at hotels in Venice, London, and Paris.
