Foreign Travel Health Insurance

Looks like my health insurance plan in 2014 will not cover anything while traveling outside the USA.

I usually take a couple 1-3 week long trips out of the country each year.
Was wondering what people might recommend for emergency health coverage while traveling.

Perhaps there may be some coverage provided by credit cards?
Would credit card coverage kick in if I was traveling on an award ticket?

There are a number of good travel health insurance options on www.insuremytrip.com, where you can pick and choose and compare benefits. I wouldn't recommend relying on credit card insurance for health coverage. My husband and I have a one-year multi-trip good secondary policy (covers only what your primary domestic insurance does not) for less than $200 each per year, which is worth looking at if you take more than one international trip a year.
