Hello everyone! Brand new to to FlyerTalk - I'm not a super frequent flyer, I only take 3-4 flights per year; however, I came here on advice from someone to get some expert opinion on an upcoming flight, which I will ask in another section a bit later. And WOW my friend was right - there are a lot of truly knowledgeable, friendly and helpful folks here. It's really nice to see.

Honestly, I thought I would come to FT and quickly get advice, but I've been engrossed for hours now on so many topics -- before even signing up.

So much to take in. I'm truly amazed at the dedication that so many of you have.

It feels like a very welcoming and patient community - to newbies and flying pro's alike. Thank you for that.
