finnair flight delhi to new york jfk

there is a 40 minute transit time at Helsinki airport. Is it enough? how much is the chance to miss the second part of journey

Thanks

Minimum connecting time in HEL is 35 minutes, so assuming you're ticketed through, you're in the clear. The connection will not be a problem if your incoming flight is on time (HEL is small and the non-Schengen section of it even smaller), but if you miss the flight, you may need to wait a day for the next one...

No it is not enough. Flights from India rarely ever reach early and more often than not are late. I would say 90+ % chance that you will miss your second flight. If both flights are on the same ticket they will put you on the next available flight to JFK.

A connection between two non-Schengen flights shouldn't even require going through security, unless HEL has special measures in place for ex-India flights.
