Cant understand why cant they just do a tech stop in LHR (doesnt violate 6 DOF i think if its a tech stop) .. AA has much larger crew base there...

LHR is slot controlled... no space for such stops. Vistara is planning stops in LGW for their EWR flights to switch crews from the LHR base.

Wonder if the onset of war in Ukraine will force other carriers also to eventually avoid Russian airspace...

The DEL flights to N. America all headed north and did the polar route, no problems. Umpteen flights to E. Asia from Europe flew and are flying the Siberia route today.

AA 292/ 293 on Feb 24/25 were canceled. Not sure if it was on account of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, or for some other reason.

CAn I get the Covid Antigen Test done at Delhi Airport prior to the AA departure? We will be arriving on a domestic flight and spend only 1 night at an airport hotel in Delhi. Not sure how to find a lab to get the Covid Test done. Any input? Thanks!
