Indian news channels reporting (e.g., All India Radio, NDTV, etc) that Home Ministry has approved all OCI's from "Bubble countries" to land in India.
thats encouraging.

Perhaps more commercial flights will happen between bubble countries.

Delta shows flights from Aug 31 to Bombay. Do I have to quarantine in BOM after landing if I am taking a domestic flight to MAA?

its my understanding that you have to share your onward travel details with the authorities beforehand & then they will decide what the quarantine procedure will be....

It would be ideal if all your flights are on a single ticket. I think if you have separate tickets for BOM-MAA, it will be a little more tricky.

Please keep us posted how it goes! good luck!

Thank you for the responses. I can only get separate tickets. and I hate Quarantine. May be I will postpone my trip to mid/end sep and review the situation.

Even more hillarious is the 3x weekly lock down in WB... at least Mamata has allowed domestic flights from the 6 evil Covid cities on three days of the week.

Since I'm landing in BOM in early October I tried to get some info on the arrival procedures... and stumbled across this document by the BMC on the BOM website: https://csmia.aero/assets/images/cov...dt19082020.pdf
