OCI re-issue requirements after age 50: (current as of Jan 2020 but enforcement suspended until June 30, 2020)

If your current OCI card was issued after your 50th birthday, you dont need to do anything ever (until of course they change rules)

If your current OCI card was issued before you turning 50 then this stupid rule apllies to you:
- you dont have to do anything until you get your new foreign passport (renewal) after age 50
- moment you get your new passport, current OCI card becomes invalid (see special note below)
- it needs to be re-issued using Misc. OCI services
(depending on office that serves your area, this can take few days to several weeks or even months)

Special Note: The enforcement of this rule has been suspended until June 30, 2020 So in the meantime, you can travel with your new passport, current OCI card and the old passport whose number is listed in the current OCI card
