At Bengaluru airport, is there a separate line for e-visas and regular visas, or is it one line?

My parents have reported seeing a separate counter for e-visa passengers, but they've never seen it actually staffed. I'll be passing through BLR later this year and will report my experience as well.

Not flown in via BLR but at both HYD and BOM there are completely separate areas for e-visa processing as it requires biometric capturing and generally takes around 5 mins per pax, vs the 1 minute at the regular line. I'd expect BLR to be the same.

So biometrics are NEVER captured for a regular visa but they are for an evisa? It just doesn't make sense.

They are but not as extensive. Just a fingerprint

all fingers, IIRC. Definitely both thumbs and both index fingers, but I think it was all 4 fingers on each hand + thumbs. Been a few months, back on a sticker visa now

Yes there is. Before the maze for Immigration ( or passport control) there is a e visa counter on the right( as on Oct 18).

Yes, there is, and hardly anyone in that queue. The counter can be missed though, as usually just 1 person is manning it.

Yes, there is a separate counter for e-visas on the right just before the main immigration area. Just opposite the restrooms on the left. There is signage pointing to it but it can be missed since the bulk of the signs point straight ahead to the main immigration counters.

I don't know if e-visa holders can go to the regular lines or not.

As for biometrics in the regular lines, pretty much everyone is photographed, but they seem to ask for fingerprints only for some classes of travelers. Unclear to me what the criteria are.
