What are your concerns?

Any reasons you're driving 12 hours instead of flying or taking the train?

Generally speaking, unless you're traveling on deserted roads there's not much you have to do. Pack some water, salty and sugary snacks and that should do the trick.

I'd break it into 2 days. May sure your spare tire is in proper working order just incase and try to travel at times when possibly avoiding traffic jams that are common around cities.
I cannot comment which as I don't know that route.

Maybe you should ask your mechanic this question.

After a few trips on Indian highways, I have to wonder if perhaps his question isn't more about the feasibility of making it safely to his destination in a small car than anything else:
(see particularly 1:45-1:56)

i don't see any problems with driving 700 kms in your hyundai eon....it would be advisable to break up your journey over a couple of days rather than trying to complete it in a day....
