My 3 week trip itinerary -- thoughts?
Hi all,
I'm going to India for 3 weeks in February, and this is a rough itinerary of what I'd like to do: Week 1 - Fly into Delhi, go immediately to Thiruvananthapuram - Kerala - Pondicherry (maybe) - Chennai (maybe) Week 2 - Goa - Mumbai Week 3 - Udaipur - Jaipur - Agra (just for 1 day to see the Taj) - Delhi - Fly out of Delhi Is this itinerary too aggressive? I'm a fan of slow travel, but given that this will probably be a once in a lifetime trip, I'd like to do as much as I can without killing myself. I'm from NYC, so I'm not too bothered to spend that much time in major cities, like Delhi and Mumbai. I'm also constantly hearing horror stories about Delhi, especially since I'll be a solo female traveler for most of my trip, so I'm thinking of only spending a day or 2 there. Also, how safe would it be to book a flight to the south on the same day that I arrive into Delhi? I arrive in Delhi at about 7am and am thinking of booking a flight to Thiruvananthapuram for about noon that same day so that I could meet up with a friend that afternoon/evening. Too risky? Any thoughts/tips on the itinerary and the flight situation would be much appreciated!! Thanks! Can't wait for my trip :) |

My flight gets in on Feb 1 at 5:10am. I booked IndiGo for 11:30am to Trivandrum. Will I have to switch terminals?
There's a free shuttle provided by airport that leaves every 30 mins. You can also hire a cab right outside Terminal 3. |
