travel suggestions from Jaipur

I have 1 week until friend meets me in Jaipur and would appreciate practical travel/touring suggestions for that time, not excessively tiring or otherwise taxing. Srinigar safe at present? Kerala? Other ideas?

Good travel agents in Jaipur?

Yes, in Jaipur now with an empty calendar for coming week. Then friend will join for balance of time in Jaipur and Delhi until fly back to States on 12/12. So for the present I'm free to do whatever is most likely to be enjoyed.

Will start searching, but right now no clue. Is Srinigar potentially dangerous and/or too far or difficult to get to? Kerala? Mumbai too much of a chaotic hassle for a leisurely visit? I'm more interested in enjoyable or stimulating experiences than particular sights.

My friend, who has decades of experience in India, planned our trip.
But he doesn't see why I'm not happy to eat channa masala every day. I thought he was kidding when he kept saying he was coming back to the holy city of Pushkar for the 4th year in a row because he can't get enough of the camels and the tribesmen in turbins, and thus we spent 9 incredibly groundhog repetitious days there. I bailed yesterday in Kota before he drove off for 4 days at the next such festival with different camels (I'm not kidding!) took a train to Jaipur.

Thoughts?

srinagar is absolutely safe, kerela is one of my favourite places in india & mumbai is fine for a 2-3 day visit....any one of these places would work but kerela would be on top of my list....
