Visa help
 

So my friend and I are leaving for India this upcoming Thursday and we would love to go to Nepal, but my friend got the Visa on arrival which is only one entry. Unfortunately, he is unable to make it to an Indian consulate until Monday which would be too late to try to get a multiple entry visa.

Does anyone know if we can apply for re-entry while we are in India or the Indian consulate in Kathmandu?

Or we were thinking of leaving Kathmandu to return to India the same day that our flight to go home leaves so he doesn't have to leave the airport. I have a multiple entry visa so I could handle any checked baggage we may have of ours.

Would either of these options be possible or is my friend out of luck? Any help and/or recommendations is much appreciated.

this option might work....what airlines are you flying????

We would probably leave Kathmandu with Jet Airways since our flight leaving India is on Etihad (operated by Jet airways) so I'm thinking they could transfer our bags?
