Any problems having both a business and tourist Visa?
 

Having been to India for my work, I have a valid multi-year multi-entry business visa for India. I'm planning to visit there strictly for non-business purposes with my wife for which I plan to get a tourist visa. Anyone know if this affects my business visa at all? Or do I even need to get a tourist visa?

I don't think you need a tourist visa (the business one gets more scrutiny before issuance anyway), but should you decide to get one, it won't interfere with your current business visa.

They watch out for the other combo: entering for business with a tourist visa. You should be fine.

no need to get the tourist visa....a number of my clients have a business visa but they have visited the country for vacation as well....
