Transfer time between Delhi trainstation and domestic terminal
 

We arrive around 5 PM in Delhi Nizamuddin train station . How long does the taxi ride to the domestic airport take. We are taking a flight to mumbai at 10 PM. Is their a pre pay taxi stand at the station

Weekday or weekend? Subject to reasonable traffic, I estimate 1-1.5 hours' worth ride from the station to airport. Should not be a problem, as long as your train isn't late. Not sure about PP taxis, someone else on this forum might be able to help you.

i don't think there is a pre-paid taxi stand at the station but you can negotiate a rate with the taxi driver before getting into the car....

if you are getting in on a weekday then i would keep about 1.5 - 2 hours to get to the airport from nizamuddin....if its a weekend then 45min - an hour would be sufficient....

Thanks guys , it will be on a wednesday. I book the jetairways flight witch leaves at 21:45 that evening. So when the train is an hour late 18:00 , approx 2 hours to airport , Check inn at 20:00 , i will make it (hope)

you need to be at the airport latest by 8:45pm so i think you have enough time to make it....
