Early arrival at MAA Domestic terminal.
 

How early can I gain access to the Domestic Terminal of MAA?

I have a 4am Kingfisher Red flight and rather than paying for a night in a hotel... was considering having dinner... then heading over to the airport for midnight, checking in and using the Bica Lounge.

Will I be able to enter the terminal and check my bags in at midnight?
If not can I access the lounge (I understand it is before security) before checking in m bags?

Normally security won't let you in 4 hours prior to the flight, but a little pleading will definitely help. However, don't expect the airline counters to be open at that time, particularly if you're depending on airline lounge passes to get you into the lounge. For the same reasons, you may not be able to get your bags scanned.

Your best bet is to get to the Trident or Radisson (both close to the airport) in the evening / late evening, have drinks/dinner, wait in the lobby/foyer until past midnight and then head to the airport - say around 1.30 am.
