Does 9W have an arrival lounge in SIN
 

Flying in on the overnight flight from BOM to SIN in Premiere class. What is any are my options?

9W uses the rainforest lounge in SIN I believe .. but that's a departure lounge.

For arrivals - well, Changi is the sort of airport you spend very little time at unless you want to shop or laze around or something. You can pick up your bags and get into the MRT / a cab within half an hour or less after you land.

Thank you hserus. I was actually hoping that I could shower, shave and have my clothes pressed so I would not have to check into my hotel till the end of the day after mtgs. Anyway, I have requested an early check-in so shall keep my fingers crossed.

You will find plenty of showers in Changi. Even the public toilets and showers are wonderfully clean.

Not if you land after 11:30 P.M., as you will if you flew NW for example. I always spend a few hours at SIN on arrival when I am travelling alone.

There's a paid lounge in the arrivals section after clearing customs in at least one of the terminals. You can pay to use the lounge for a fixed period of time or pay simply for a shower at the lounge. I just pay to use it for the showers -- something like SGD$8 and there's a kind of lemonade juice dispenser with snowcone type paper cups to be used with it.

Thanks GUWonder. That answers the question I had. Luckily on my last trip to SIN the hotel was able to offer me an early (very early!!) check in. I will look up what Terminal the arrival lounge is in for my next trip.

The lounge with shower that I am talking about is landside in Terminal 2 or (IIRC more likely) Terminal 3 that has that paid lounge or paid shower facility. Last time I used the paid shower facility at the lounge facility there, I was already landside at Terminal 1 arrivals and changed terminals to shower up and change for a meeting. Premium Plaza lounge or something like that is what it's called and it has a price list on display when you approach the desk there.

SIN hotels are usually pretty good about allowing me early check-in too and now with the downturn in the economy it should be even easier than it has been at anytime since the SARS hysteria.
