Kingfisher First A321 seating

I will be traveling on IT 314 DEL-BOM and have been unable to locate a seat map for any IT aircraft. Does anyone have a personal recommendation for the first class cabin on their A321? I know there is a door at, I believe, row 6...Is there additional pitch? Is this door used for boarding? Any insight would be appreciated.

Hi Llandar

I have no personal experience of the A321, but I have flown on the A320's. The seat pitch is a very good 50" (approx) so you will have no problems with legroom wherever you sit.

I like row 2, close to the front to be served first and extra room to stretch out without having the bulkhead in your face.

48" pitch actually. See http://www.flykingfisher.com/Kingfis...st/kfclass.asp

Click "in-flight" and then click "comfort" there .. requires flash so I'm not able to paste a direct link.

There's these specs, and photos of the product.

Sleeperette seats with extendable footrests.
48" seat pitch and a 125° recline.
Fully-adjustable headrests.
Laptop and mobile phone chargers in each seat.
Comfortable pillows and snug blankets.

I've flown in that exit row - I think it is row 6. IIRC, I couldn't get it assigned on web checkin and I changed to this row at airport checkin. Boarding only takes place from the first door, not this exit. Yes, there is lots of additional pitch in this row and it would be my first choice of seat.

Here is a link to a photo of the Kingfisher A321 Business Class that I clicked on my recent GOI-BOM flight.

As can be seen from the picture, there is extra legroom available at the exit row seat.

Rest assured, they do not use this door for boarding. Boarding is always done using the front door. (and sometimes front + rear door)

One thing to note though - If you choose seats C&D, you would have an F/A sitting there facing you. Don't know if you would be bothered by this or not, but thought I'd mention this.

As its a kingfisher FA .. well, I dont think all that many people would mind (in fact, for quite a few people, it'd end up becoming one of the most sought after seats on the entire plane if I dont miss my guess) :)
