Schedules for the SFO-BLR non-stop??

Does anybody know of the schedules/timings for the Kingfisher SFO-BLR non-stop? When do they become bookable? What is the start date for these flights?
Thank You!

As of now, there is no schedule. Kingfisher still has not got approval for flying internationally on Deccan's name. Until everything is sorted, there will be no schedule.

Kingfisher is just trying to keep itself in the news by announcing possible SFO-BLR routes.

In addition, Jet or AI have no plans on the SFO-BLR route.

Return from JFK should be a similar late morning departure, however it would arrive in the early afternoon with those flight times.

Great schedule

If these timings hold, it will be a very competitive schedule. No way other carriers can match this. Current routings via FRA, HKG, LHR from SFO do not have this convenience. For example, LH leaves SFO very early in the evening. BA forces you to have a long gap (20+ hrs) in LHR on the return BLR-LHR-SFO. CX seems to offer a better schedule to MAA but BLR does not yet seem that great. IT schedules to both JFK and SFO from BLR look so attractive.

I'd happily switch at least 50% of my travel to IT. Need to keep the rest on other carriers for connections to various other destinations.

The challenge seems to be making profits on this route without a lot of cargo capacity. Maybe they can find enough high value, time sensitive, low weight cargo.

1. LH 455 dep SFO around 2PM, not early evening!

2. There is no 20-hr wait in LHR on BA for BLR-LHR-SFO

BA 118
dep BLR 6:45am, arr LHR 12:35pm

BA 287
dep LHR 1:50pm, arr SFO 4:40pm

While the above BLR-LHR-SFO itinerary includes a "legal" connection at LHR, you would have to be a very inexperienced BA flyer to willingly book it. The first flight (BA 118 from BLR to LHR) has a pitiful 40% on-time record ---- and even if the first flight were more reliable, 75 minutes connecting time is truly minimal for BA connections at LHR. [It's worth noting that the most current OneWorld Timetable (June 11) offers this BLR-LHR-SFO routing only on Thursdays, when BA 118 is scheduled to arrive LHR at 11:50 am.] Since BA currently will not protect delayed passengers on other airlines, the above LHR connection is worth booking only if you have insurance coverage that generously covers misconnects, and you are able to painlessly sustain a 20 hour London missed connection stopover.....

Are customs and immigration open at that time? I remember arriving early from NRT and had to wait in the aircraft until immigration and customs officers arrived.

Customs and Immigration would adjust their times to accomodate all scheduled flight times. If your flight arrived very early and was the first scheduled international flight, then you had to wait until the customs and immigration officers arrived.

No Kingfisher flight in the horizon

With cancellation of Jet Airways between BOM-SFO due to low load factor, not sure about viability of BLR-SFO route. I checked Kingfisher website. No news about SFO flight. They say 'The Government of India has recently granted Kingfisher Airlines the rights and approval to operate flights on other routes namely, Mumbai-Hong Kong, Mumbai-Singapore, Chennai-Colombo, Bangalore-Colombo, Kolkata-Dhaka, Kolkata-Chittagong, Bangalore-Bangkok and Mumbai-Bangkok sectors. The time frame for launch of these services will be announced in due course.'
