Kingfisher ticket refund

May I ask your advise in respect of a Kingfisher ticket refund issue? I was booked and ticketed on a IT flight from JDH to JSM in early February 08. The ticket was an e-ticket booked over their webpage and paid by international credit card.

The flight was cancelled due to fog in JDH, as the aircraft overflew going directly from UDP to JSM without landing at JDH. JDH IT ground staff promised refunding the ticket to the credit card and stamped the e-ticket printout "flight cancelled - good for refund".

After about a month, in early March, I wondered why no refund had been debited to my credit card. I then contacted IT sales office in London, which seems to be the only one in Europe, via e-mail. I got neither an answer nor a refund.

Any clue how I could get my money back?

This will sound weird, but if all else fails, why don't you tell the story to the "Ombudsman" folks at CN Traveller ?

why bother with ombudsman? Just send a copy of your eticket to your credit/charge card company and request credit be issued to your card.

You may want to post this query on the anet-india site. Folks there might be more informed. Here is the link to that board http://airlinersindia.s4.bizhat.com/

thanks

I'll try the other forum. The credit card hint won't work, as I purchased my ticket back in Jan and pay my credit card bills...

Send email to the Chairman of Kingfisher and file dispute with your credit card company. See my earlier post with response from the chairman on an unrelated issue.

Dont assume that the credit card dispute does not work.I am just working through the system to dispute a charge for a flight on indian airlines in Jan that was cancelled.

You can dispute a charge after you've paid the bill. Don't let that stop you. The CC dispute option will almost certainly be the easiest.
