Air India C-class ticket refund

In July, I bought an AI ticket (C-class) for BKK-HKG. Unfortunately, I missed the flight, but as I quite often fly this route, I thought I would use it next time.

Now, apparently, AI has discontinued this route. What should I do?

I bought the ticket in a travel agency in Bangkok (downtown), and I am not sure I can find that specific agency again.

ARCC/NON END/NON RER/NOT VLD FOR CONVERSION INTO MCO.

No "Not valid after" date...

You really have to take it up with the TA.

See if you can change your ticket to fly on a AI / TG codeshare?

http://home.airindia.in/SBCMS/Webpag...rs.aspx?mid=31 has this ..

Thai Airways
(TG) 7 B744/773 Bangkok-Hong kong-Bangkok

In all the above arrangements, the foreign carrier is the Operating Carrier and Air India is the Participating Carrier.

I know AI code-shares with TG on India-BKK routes. But do they code-share on BKK-HKG route?

Er, Yaatri .. I am sure you read what I pasted from the AI website -

Sure looks to me like a codeshare on TG's BKK-HKG roundtrip - and looks like not all their planes too (744 and 773? TG usually uses A330s for short haul regional runs, are these some US flights of TG that stopover in HKG?)

Despite what the website claims, they do not code share on the BKK-HKG route and never have.

Thank you for confirming that. I have done some web-research, and simply coudn't find an AI-number on that route.

Hmmm, I guess I have to find that travel agency...

I did. But it did not jive with my experience.

Thanks for clearing that up.
